Terms
One Thumb Games · last updated 13 October 2026
These are the rules for every game published by One Thumb Games (today: No Brakes, Roost Rows, Lexicrab, Lily Escape and Munchpix), and for this website. By playing one of our games, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not play.
Who can play
Our games are rated 13+. If you are under the age at which you can agree to terms where you live, a parent or guardian must agree for you.
The games
- They are games, provided for fun, as they are. We may change or stop one at any time.
- There are no accounts. Your progress is stored on your device (and, on iPhone, in your own iCloud if that is on). It can be lost if you delete the app or its data. We hold no copy and cannot restore it.
- Distances on challenge links are not checked by anyone. They are a taunt between friends, not a ranking.
- Leaderboards on iPhone are run by Apple's Game Center and follow Apple's rules.
- The puzzle games (Roost Rows, Lexicrab, Lily Escape and Munchpix) download their daily puzzle and level packs from our server, so new levels need a connection.
Playing fair
- Do not use our games to break the law or to harass anyone.
- Choose a challenge name that is not offensive and does not pretend to be someone else.
- Do not copy, resell or redistribute a game, its art, sound or code.
Ads and purchases
- Our games are free and show ads. Full-screen ads never interrupt a run or a puzzle in progress; display ads, where shown, sit outside the play area. In No Brakes no ad is shown during a run.
- In the puzzle games, watching two rewarded videos turns the banner and the full-screen ads off until midnight, your local time. The pass has no cash value and ends at midnight.
- Remove ads is a one-time purchase inside the games that offer it. It turns off the banner and the full-screen ads in that game for good. The optional video ad that continues a run stays, because you choose when to watch it.
- Purchases are sold and billed by Apple (on iPhone) or Google Play (on Android), and refunds are handled by them under their own terms. Use Restore purchases in the game's Settings to get a purchase back on a new device.
Ownership
The games, their names, art, sound and code belong to us. You get a personal, non-transferable permission to play them.
No warranty, limited liability
We try to keep our games working, but we do not promise that they are free of faults or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss from using them, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for the game in the last twelve months. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Privacy
What our games do with data is set out in the privacy policy.
Third-party material
The fonts and word lists our games use, and their licences, are listed in the open-source and third-party notices.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
